The Anybus Defender physically separates machines and critical assets through network segmentation in line with ISA/IEC 62443-3-3, combined with NAT, traffic filtering and deep packet inspection on industrial protocols. This makes it easy to set up zones and conduits, allowing only the traffic that is truly needed.

The Defender recognises industrial protocols and automatically learns network traffic, greatly reducing manual rule creation. A built-in scanner maps your connected assets, including make, type, version and patch level. Virtual patching through integrated intrusion detection and prevention also protects legacy systems that cannot easily be updated. Configuration is done via a web interface with wizards, and the optional Anybus Cybersecurity Console lets you manage multiple Defenders centrally.
