Owasys expands its family of open, programmable Linux gateways with the owa347A. The same robustness and openness as the other owa models, but in a smaller and lighter housing, ideal for installations with limited space and for light vehicles and machines.

The owa347A is built for monitoring and controlling machinery and fleets in demanding environments: construction equipment, boats, snowmobiles, mobile compressors and other applications exposed to harsh conditions, on land or on water.

With its IP67 enclosure and an operating range of -40 °C to +73 °C, the gateway stays reliable where other devices fail. For connectivity, it offers LTE Cat 1 bis, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS) and optional Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, complemented by up to 3 CAN interfaces, Ethernet and RS485. Antennas can be configured internally or externally for flexible installation.

The owa347A runs on an open Linux architecture based on the Yocto Project, giving you full software freedom without vendor lock-in. Security is built in: Secure Boot and an optional TPM 2.0 secure element protect your data and hardware from edge to cloud, a solid foundation for CRA-compliant machines.
