ABISS KORTRIJK 2026 – FOR THE 11th TIME this one-day industrial technology summit and networking exhibition will welcome 1,200 industrial professionals and 100 exhibitors. Visitors discover and benchmark the latest technologies and insights in IIoT, smart, connected and secure industry. For the second edition in Breda, we will also host at least 500 visitors and 60 exhibitors.
IIoT Success: It Takes Two to Transform. Anyone who wants to make every relevant industrial process tomorrow, from sales to production, on both the shop floor and the top floor, more innovative, smarter and safer from end to end, fundamentally relies on the secure insights of IT and the availability requirements of OT. This theme focuses on platforms, networks and connectivity technologies required to upload, process and return data efficiently to the machine environment. |

Data contextualization: IIoT only works when machine data (OT) is correctly interpreted by algorithms (IT). IT specialists and engineers must collaborate to determine relevant data, analysis methods, algorithms, models and LLMs, and translate them into meaningful KPIs such as uptime, OEE and ROI. |

OT systems are often legacy environments not originally designed for internet connectivity. Installing an IIoT gateway without IT support exposes production sites to cyber risks. IT ensures cybersecurity, while OT defines which operational processes must never be interrupted. |
