Momentum is an integrated MOM platform, with the MES as its foundation, complemented by APS, QMS, BMS, and WMS. Together, these modules provide an end-to-end solution that helps manufacturers increase business momentum – producing faster, smarter, and more sustainably, with maximum control over quality and complexity.

The foundation: Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

The MES is the cornerstone of Momentum and forms the layer between ERP and SCADA.
It manages, schedules, and monitors the execution of manufacturing processes – from raw materials to finished goods – and connects enterprise software, machinery, equipment, and resources.

MES advantages:

  • Optimizes the entire production process: monitoring, recording, and control.
  • Centralizes all knowledge in one platform (no paper or scattered files).
  • Reduces downtime and simplifies root-cause analysis.
  • Transparent end-to-end track & trace.
  • OEE dashboards to track performance, downtime, and output in real time.

Integrated technologies within MES:

  1. Labeling Management System
  2. Personnel Management
  3. Workinstructions
  4. Track & Trace
  5. Historian & Reporting
  6. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

The four additional modules of the MOM platform

  1. Advanced Production Scheduling (APS)
Optimizes production planning by considering inventory, production time, delivery deadlines, and quality risks.
  • Flexible and partly automated scheduling.
  • Minimizes waste and increases output.
  • Continuous improvement via real-time planning boards.
  1. Quality Management System (QMS)
Supports quality control, ensures compliance, and enables continuous improvement.
  • Track & trace, audit trail, and reaction plans.
  • Digital signatures and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Benefits: higher customer satisfaction, risk reduction, greater efficiency.
  1. Batch Management System (BMS)
Essential for process industries and perishable goods.
  • Manages recipes and tracks batches throughout the supply chain.
  • Benefits: consistent product quality, reduced waste, shorter lead times.
  1. Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Optimizes logistics operations – standalone or integrated.
  • Manages inbound/outbound goods, inventory, and order picking.
  • Benefits: higher efficiency, less waste, better space utilization, real-time inventory visibility.
