ABISS is a one-day networking and knowledge platform focused on industrial digitalization, software, IoT, and AI. It targets C-level profiles, IT/OT managers, and innovation and production managers from the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Where and when does ABISS take place?

ABISS takes place on Thursday, October 9, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Kortrijk Xpo, Belgium.

What is the central theme of ABISS?

ABISS focuses on IT, OT & AI in industrial environments, covering themes such as cybersecurity, data analytics, predictive maintenance, and digital twin technology.

Practical Information

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is ample paid parking available at Kortrijk Xpo. Please follow the on-site signage. Parking at Kortrijk Xpo costs €7 per day.

Is ABISS accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Absolutely. Kortrijk Xpo is fully wheelchair accessible. There are adapted toilets and parking spaces available.

Are there food and drink options available at the event?

Yes, free catering is provided throughout the day, with snacks, lunch options, and drinks available for visitors and exhibitors.

Is Wi-Fi available for visitors?

Yes, visitors can use the Kortrijk Xpo Wi-Fi network free of charge.

Programme & Expert Classes

Can I attend the expert classes as a visitor?

Yes, all expert classes and partner pitches are freely accessible to visitors with a valid entry ticket.

Do I need to register in advance for the Expert classes?

No, but arrive on time: the sessions are open to all, and seating is limited.

In which language are the keynotes delivered?

Most sessions are in Dutch or English. The program always indicates the language in which a session will be held.

Can I watch the expert classes later?

The expert classes are recorded. They will be shared with registered visitors after the event.

Access & Registration

Is ABISS free for visitors?

Yes, entry is completely free, but prior online registration is mandatory.

How do I register for ABISS?

You can register via the online registration form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?

Yes, immediately after your registration you will receive a confirmation email with practical information and your access ticket.

Can I also register on-site?

No, on-site registration is not possible. Only pre-registered visitors are granted access. You can still register online on the day itself. A ticket is valid immediately.

Can I invite colleagues?

Absolutely! However, each visitor must register individually via the registration form.

Can I print my access ticket or show it digitally?

You can show your access ticket digitally on your smartphone or tablet, or bring a printed copy. We recommend bringing a printed version. Your ticket also serves as your badge for ABISS.

Is the event suitable for students?

ABISS is aimed at professionals. Students are not admitted to ABISS.

Networking & Appointments

Can I make appointments with exhibitors in advance?

Yes, you can use the exhibitor overview or contact exhibitors directly to schedule an appointment during the event.

Is there a networking app or platform available?

During ABISS, you can use the SCAN&GO principle with your camera to obtain information about an exhibitor and send a contact request.

There is no networking app available for the event.

Am I allowed to bring flyers or samples to ABISS to distribute?

Distributing flyers at ABISS is not allowed. If you want to connect with visitors or exhibitors yourself, you can always become a partner of ABISS. There are various participation options.

What is SCAN&GO?

SCAN&GO is a networking app by IndustrialFairs that enables sharing information and connecting visitors & exhibitors.

No download or app is needed, just a smartphone with a camera.
